The problem
Large car supermarket group with national presence had been placed in administration. The administrators had appointed the recovery agents but had no process or procedures for remarketing the assets.
The solution
Worked with the appointed recovery agent to immediately implement our disaster recovery plan. Negotiated a deal with a major auction company to use a select number of their sites around the UK and created an auction programme with marketing support. The vehicles were found, collected and delivered to the auction sites within 5 days and the national auction programme started within one week, separating the retail stock from the part –exchanges. Each sale was attended; building customer confidence that the cars were to be sold at realistic prices.
Client benefit
The vehicles were collected and sold within the agreed timescales, for the agreed CAP % and within the agreed budget.
